Questions about what it’s like to work together?

Here are some of the most common questions I get from folks about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, contact me.

  • I am based in Nevada and serve residents in Nevada, Ohio, and West Virginia. I offer virtual psychotherapy, so you can do the work from the comfort of your own space. No commute, no waiting rooms, just real conversations that help you move forward.

  • Online therapy works just like in-person therapy. We meet through a secure video platform where we can talk in real-time, face-to-face. All you need is a private space, a good internet connection, and a willingness to dive in. Whether you’re on your couch or in your car (parked, of course), therapy meets you where you are—literally.

  • Experiential therapy is different from traditional talk therapy because it’s not just about talking—it’s about feeling and experiencing what’s really happening inside you. Many of us understand our problems logically (“I know I shouldn’t be so hard on myself”), but that insight alone doesn’t always lead to change. Experiential therapy helps bridge that gap between what you know and what you actually feel.

In sessions, we pay attention not only to your thoughts and words, but also to what’s happening in your body—your tension, emotions, and impulses. These reactions often hold valuable clues about what’s really driving your anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. By safely exploring and experiencing those emotions in real time, you can release long-held patterns, connect more deeply with yourself, and start responding to life in new, healthier ways.

Think of it like learning to ride a bike: you can read about balance all day, but the real change happens when you actually get on the bike. Experiential therapy helps you do just that—with your emotions, your relationships, and your life.

  • I don’t offer in-person sessions—my practice is 100% virtual.

  • I do not accept insurance at this time.

  • The initial intake session is $180, and follow-up sessions are $155. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Your first appointment is a 90-minute session to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been holding you back, and what you want to change. We’ll explore your history, patterns, and goals—all at a pace that feels right for you. It’s a chance for us to get a feel for working together and start making sense of what’s been weighing you down. No pressure, no judgment—just real conversation and a plan to move forward.

  • Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and how long you need depends on your goals, history, and what feels right to you. Some people start feeling shifts within a few sessions, while others take more time to untangle long-standing patterns. My job isn’t to keep you in therapy forever—it’s to help you get unstuck and moving toward the life you want, at a pace that works for you.
