Get to Know Me
I'm a Midwesterner at heart who made Southern Nevada home in 2009. I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Throughout my career, I've worked in a variety of settings with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. Those experiences have shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I strive to create a space where every person feels respected, understood, and welcome, regardless of culture, race, gender, identity, or life story. I know I won't always get it right, but I believe it's important to stay curious, listen openly, and repair when I miss something.
My approach to therapy is experiential. Rather than only talking about your experiences, we pay attention to what is happening within you as it happens. Together, we'll notice the emotions, body sensations, thoughts, and relationship patterns that often operate outside of awareness and quietly shape the way you move through life. As we begin to understand these patterns, you'll have opportunities to experience yourself differently, opening the door to meaningful and lasting change.
When I’m not in therapist mode, you’ll find me chasing sunsets, roller skating, hiking in the mountains, or snapping photos of the things that make life beautiful. I love dogs, being near water, and spending time with my favorite people.
What it’s like to work with me
Therapy with me is a collaborative, compassionate process where we face what’s real, work through the hard stuff, and create space for you to step into a more authentic, connected life.
Some days, that means gently challenging the beliefs that hold you back; other days, it’s about offering space to process and be heard without judgment. You don’t have to have it all figured out, you just need a willingness to show up, and I’ll meet you there.
Expect a mix of insight, practical tools, and maybe even a little humor along the way. Growth is hard work, but you don’t have to do it alone.
